It’s time we train again.

With lockdown restrictions easing, Sydney Uni Muay Thai (SUMT) is welcoming members back to training from Tuesday 23 June.

Your health and safety is always our top priority. To keep you safe, the coaching and executive team is activating a new training protocol.

Our protocol for safety

Our protocol is designed to keep members safe during training in the Covid-19 pandemic. Informed by the latest government requirements, best practice from sport institutes and guidance from Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF), the protocol outlines key changes including:

  1. Training programs that maintain social distancing

  2. Heightened safety measures to maintain hygiene

  3. Maximum attendees capped to ensure social distancing

  4. Elevated responsibilities for coaches and members

  5. A new Covid-19 safety coordinator to steer the Club and protocol

Your roles and responsibilities

While the protocol is in effect, you must do the following when you train with the Club.

  1. Agree to the SUMT protocol and SUSF terms

  2. Register for each session in advance

  3. Use your own hand wraps and gloves

  4. Bring a water bottle and towel

  5. Have the COVIDSafe app

  6. Follow the coach’s instructions

Bookings mandatory

Hey, are you ready to train? Bookings for classes open 7 days in advance and are capped at a maximum of 30 students. If a class is not appearing it is either fully booked or yet to open.
